Meet The Captain
Hey y’all — I’m Patrick, the owner of Captain’s Choice. Alongside my wife Chelsea and our three kids — Aleah, Blake, and Eli — we run Captain’s Choice Seafood Market right here in Cedar Point, NC.
This business is built on more than just fresh catch — it’s built on legacy. I was raised by Vernon Guthrie, owner of The Crab Shack in Salter Path, who taught me the ropes of seafood from the time I could walk. From shrimping in South Carolina to clamming in Sneads Ferry before the sun came up, I learned what real hard work — and real seafood — looks like.
Now, at Captain’s Choice, we offer fresh, local seafood that’s hand-selected, and full of flavor. No shortcuts. No fillers. Just the good stuff.
